One is now cracked and the other one is really beat up. I was wondering if someone could tell me how much a cheap one would cost me? I don't want anything facny I just want a normal one. That I could like go to Canadian Tire to buy or somewhere like that. Thanks alot guys!

  1. To get a bog standard one (most likely like the ones that came with the table) will cost you £6.99

you can get a fair quality one for anything from £15-30

if your from UK check Sports World, Argos or if possible a specialist pool/snooker shop...

    Good Luck :)

  2. Anything at canadian tire isn't worth having. I would say go to a local billiards supply store and test a few out. Find something that feels good to you. Weight and balance are important.

As long as it has a straight shaft, preferably maple, and a decent well maitained tip you should be fine. I would say a Players or Lucasi or something along those lines should be good for a starter cue. You should be able to find something for around $50-$75 that is good enough.

  3. The most common house cue in the industry is Dufferin (made in Canada).  They are the standard.  The expectation.  The norm.  Yes, they're a little more expensive than what has currently been mentioned among these answers BUT they are perfectly made simple one-piece cues that will last a very long time.

  4. You can go to Walmart or Target and pick up a cheap cue for probably less than $20.

  5. i play pool a lot,if you want to play good, you have to look good as well. if you invest in a new cue it might make you ply better.

  6. It depends on how much cheap to you. I feel a cheap cue is anything 200 and under. Players and Vipers are two popular cheap brand sticks.  You can also find sticks that are in the 15 to 20 dollar range but in my opinion they are usually junk and won't last long

  7. You can get a quality pool cue for around $15.

  8. i needed some cheap pool cues and paid about $8.00/ ea at platinum billiards.

  9. about 7 pounds
