Hi, i wanted to know how much does kittens from a domestic short hair cat sell for? I have a mail he's about to turn 4 and everybody says he's good looking, so im just wondering the value of the kittens if he reproduce. Im sure it would depend on the type of female cat he reproduce with.

  1. not much for domestic plain run of the mill cats. they are a dime a dozen, requrdless if their the most beautiful cats ever

  2. usually domestic cats, ones like tabby's and such don't go for much...plus there are plenty of kittens and cats in shelters like that who need homes. poor kittens, too many cats are reproducing and they have to be put down because no one wants them..so just beware of that. regular short haired cats around here go for $20 or less if they arent free, or at the shelter you can get one for $100 that has all its shots and is spayed or neutered, or if its a kitten it will be spayed/neutered on the shelters account [they pay for it]. where as cats like himalayans and ragdolls go for $350 and up, 350 if they arent given shots or neutered and more expensive if they are.

  3. Unless you're a reputable breeder and your cat has papers (which most cats don't) you will have an extremely hard time selling any offspring.  Most kittens, unless of a designer breed, are given away or abandoned.

  4. free

  5. No value at all.  Best to save everyone a lot of time, trouble and sadness and get that boy neutered.

He'll be a happier and healthier pet and no need to worry about kittens who don't have a home.

    Good luck!

  6. NO WAY should you breed your cat!!!!! Prettty or not!! There are WAY TOO many kittens and cats in shelters being put down every day do to pet owners not being responsible and having their pets fixed! And pretty or not there are so many unwanted cats and strays you wouldnt be able to make money off of them! Just go to your local animal shelter and see how many animals are there!!!

Please be responsible and have you Cat FIXED!!!

  7. Domestic shorthair kittens usually go for FREE. NEUTER YOUR CAT!

  8. Don't reproduce.  The world is so overpopulated with cats and kittens.  Just go to a shelter and see for yourself.  If you want more cats then just adopt them.

  9. FREE.  that is if you are lucky enough to find someone to adopt them.  get your cat fixed

  10. You can get cats for free....It would be foolish to breed domestic cats on purpose when so many die everyday in shelters. Please reconsider. Also, with cats.....litters are so varied it would be impossible to say if the kittens would be as handsome as your guy. Before you decide to breed, maybe you should visit your local shelter to see just how many cats and kittens are out there that need homes before you try to make a buck.

  11. You can find a litter of free kittens on every street corner. Little to none.

  12. is he registered? if he is, then you could get stud fees or pick of the litter. if you also own the female, maybe 250-300.00 dollars.

    if not registered maybe 10-30.00

  13. Cats/kittens should not be sold. There are millions of them sitting in shelters waiting to be adopted for a modest adoption fee that covers vaccinations and spaying/neutering (something you should have done for your cat before he impregnated another one).

Occassionally there are special rare breeds that people are willing to pay for. Your kittens will be difficult to GIVE AWAY, much less sell, given the huge overpopulation of cats that already exists.

Shame on you for even considering the possiblility.

  14. most people have a hard time giving away their kittens it's really irresponsible to breed cats when there are so many in shelters.

  15. You can adopt a domestic short haired kitten for 50 bucks at the Humane Society.  That money goes for food and to take care of the animals there.  Most people get kittens for free.  I don't think they would be willing to pay a price unless it is a specific breed, not for a domestic short haired cat.  My cat is gray and white and is a domestic short haired cat.  I adopted him.  I would get another one for free next time.  This kitty is full of badness and many health problems.  He can be cute too.

  16. Heyy,, to be honest there are too many homeless kittens out there for other people to be breeding new ones,, you wont get a lot for them.. and the money would go to the owner of the female anyway,, pet shops usually sell them for around £15 but i urgently advise people to go to one of the many cat homes there are to adopt one and for you not to breed!

  17. it depends on u it may range from 56$ to 200$ or more dollars

and they would have to be pure blood to get a price like 200$ or more

or really cute like adorable cute

    hope i helped
