How much would a dual driveway gate cost?

It would just be the gate with the opener. It could be either metal or wood. About 5' tall and 15' long. about how much would this cost???Would it be easy to make it your self? Could you give me a website that gives instructions on how to make one???? please please

Dual gates can cost as low as 2500.00 and the sky is the limit. With automatic gates there many options. The cost of the gate can very thousands of dollars depending on what you decide to have designed and fabricated. Most quality gate companies will do all the necessary fabrication, electrical etc, many will even do the masonry columns if you want them.

As far as the gate operating equipment goes there are a lot of operating options. First is the brand of the equipment & model, always go with a major brand stay away from the ebay junk. You then need to figure out how you want the gates to operate, some options include Transmitters, Keypads, Call Boxes, Fire Dept Boxes, Exit Loops, Safety Loops, etc. Your best bet is to find a Licensed contractor in your area, Check in the yellow pages under Gates or Gate operating devices, Make sure they handle all areas of the installation, you dont want a company that sub contracts it all out, If your in a populated area you should have no problem with finding the right company. alway check the contractors license, Better business bureau, etc. ask for references and locations a contractor thats proud of his work will always be happy to show it off.
