Well I started with one ferret who came with her ferret nation cage (worlds best ferret cage and vet recommended) and accessories. everything cost $250 So then I got another ferret 2 months later at a pet store she cost $150 Lots of toys accessories and treats and litter in between. The second of July I got another ferret his is now a 12 week old little boy he cost $150 as well from the same pet store so since the month of September when I got my first ferret to now I would say the costs have came to about $1,700 Shots for me were $15 for distemper and $15 for rabies. The best foods to feed are either Inovva EVO Ferret or Zupreem. I personally feed the ferret store original formula but plan to switch soon to either of those foods. There emergency vet bills are very expensive though. For a non emergency I made an appointment because one was ill (not life threatening) and that cost me $150.00 If it was an emergency it could have cost me $1,000 or more if they had to do surgery. So think this over and do lots of research and buy or read the book ferrets for dummies by kim schilling.

the ferrets at the petco near me are $130.. i wanna say $200 then..

but they usually need another friend. i think they get lonely. my friend got 2 for her birthday
