  1. alot

  2. If you are the original owner, and still have the sales receipt, 'CIH(ret.) is right. . . .

  3. You can expect to pay a third of what the gun is worth because those parts are so key. HOpe I helped!!!!!!!!

  4. Are you missing anything else? Gunsmiths and Armorers have the Armorer manuals for most brands and makes of firearms.

You won't pay the average $50/hour for a 15-30 minute job.

Weapon inspection, look up and order parts, when they arrive install and function check the firearm. Plus if anything else goes wrong you know someone who has specific info on your gun.

  5. Go to Numricharms online

look at the schematic for your gun and then look up the part you need

The shipping will cost more that the parts and the parts will not be hard to put in. especially if you have the schematic of the gun

A gunsmith will charge you the parts plus a hefty mark up plus around $75 an hour

    Gander Mountain's charges $60

I'm a big believer in being able to repair my own guns

95% of what goes to a gunsmith could and should be done at home

I have yet to encounter any problem that I could not repair on my own

Just a couple  could not diagnose on my own

  6. SPRING? what spring?

The s***w will cost you about $1.00( I assume you mean the crane retention s***w.)

  7. Taurus is guaranteed for life.  Take it to a Taurus dealer and have him send it back to the factory.  Unless you have mistreated it, they should repair it for free.  You will, of course, have to pay for the shipping charges for the dealer to send it to the factory.
