All the websites I tried looking at don't include the price... you have to call them or something to get it.

  1. At least 1/2 million

  2. You are looking for a sail boat in the 45 foot range?  There are a lot of good boats out there, the price will depend a lot on the maker and the age.

If you need a new boat, this is gonna cost you a bunch, but you should be able to get something like a Hunter for around $250,000.  Check Catalinas, probably near the same price.

However, if you get to searching, you can find a good used 45 footer for in the $100,000 to $125,000 range, probably less.

A good question for you would be:  What are you looking to do with this boat?

  3. This all depends on the boat and how you equip-it.  I've seen a nice cruising sailboat that listed for $235,000  I also was aboard a racing Beneteau 49 that was $1.3 M. The Fall boat shows are coming up in October, and if you want to see whats new, and what you like, I'd spend the day at one of the shows.  They are in Annapolis, MD but others are in every region.  There's a lot of 42-45 used boats outthere for $150K or less.  Good Luck!!!!

  4. Go here and search to your heart's content.

  5. About $10,000 PER FOOT OF LENGTH is a normal cost.

Look in BOAT TRADER they have loads of listings for boats.
