  1. 20 plus, but i would adopt personally.

  2. I was at the pet store Pets Way and they were wanting $25 for one Pet Co can get pretty pricey because they have different breeds of bunny. Really it's better and a lot cheaper to get one from a farmer or someone who raises them .

Good luck Hope my information was helpful.

  3. depends on where you go realy any where from $10 to $30

cause i was lookin for a bunny to the other day

  4. In money, not much. In suffering: a lot!

Every time you purchase an animal from a pet dealer, whether a store, or a person breeding in 4-H or something, you unwittingly add to suffering. There are too many pets, and not enough people to give them good "forever homes">..Please do not support pet stores or pet breeders. Thousands and thousands of rabbits are pts (like other animals) because people dump them at shelters. There are purebreds, there are beautiful bunnies in all shapes, sizes and ages. Some people do not know that rabbits can and should live into their teens with proper care: then they dump them. If you do not want a pet for that long, maybe you could consider getting an older one, or one with special needs (make sure you have a good RABBIT vet & money, as they are exotics).

Please think very hard about who and what you will support in this world.

    You can get into this excellent source of rabbit information without signing in;

Also for information that is mostly medical, try looking at this site, again, no sign in needed:

If those are not enough help, or you are still unsure, try this group -you have to join, it is for serious inquiries and people who want to learn more about pet rabbits: is owned by one of the ask the expert people; is one of the oldest bunny forums online:

  5. Betsy D. had the right answer. Do not buy from a petstore. The rabbits there have come from situations very similar to puppy mills.

A reputable rabbit breeder will have "pet" quality rabbits available. I raise Mini Rex and I usually have 2-3 from each litter that are not show quality but are still good ,healthy rabbits who will make a great pet for someone. I usually charge $10 for them without a pedigree. If you want the pedigree with a pet quality rabbit I charge $5.00 more and ask that the rabbit not be used fro breeding. Sometimes I even give the rabbits free if the person really shows they want and will love and care for the rabbit.

You can find ARBA breeders at a show. Shows are held every weekend all over the US. You can find a show near you by going to the ARBA website and clicking on the show link.

    ARBA-  http://www.arba.net

***EDIT-I would just like to say that I think CmmnCents$ is very unfair to the breeders who are ARBA members and take good care of their rabbits. We do not mistreat our rabbits. Also 4H members are being taught to be responsible breeders.  I believe in the humane treatment of animals but that does not mean all breeding of animals should come to a screaching halt. Please stop bad-mouthing people you know nothing about. If you are going to post things like that at least have the decency to let us email you to discuss our views. I am always willing to listen to all sides of an issue and discuss them.

  6. Well it really depends!I got mine for 15$It may be to 15-30 maybe more.=)

  7. at petco it's about 80 dollars but you should really go to an animal shelter.

  8. i got mine from a pet shop, its a dwarf with one flopped ear and it was $30

  9. probably 20.00+

  10. pet store bunnies can cost from $30-$60 and aren't high quality animals. i suggest checking arba.net (american rabbit breeders association) or your local 4-h extension for a breeder. they will cost at least half of what you will pay at a pet store and will be high quality animals. you will also have a good source of information for taking care of you bunny!
