  1. you will not find a solid piece, that wide

    A pine board 1x12x6  (actual size  3/4 x  11-1/2 x 6) would be 12.00

    a pine board actual size laminated from smaller pieces   3/4tk x 24" x 6" would be approx,35.00

    a 4' x 8' x 3/4tk sheet of b/c grade plywood would be approx. 25.00

Home center prices... they would cut the plywood to 24" for free....

  2. Any home store(Menards,Home Depot,Lowes, etc) would carry what your looking for,and pine would be the cheapest and is what they normally carry the most of.Yhe size your looking for would be about $8.00.

If it's for outdoor use look into cedar, lasts longer outdoors.

  3. Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, Private lumber companies in your area can also maybe help you with what your looking for.

    Good Luck!!!
