How much would a plank of birch plywood cost and how much would I need to build a guitar?

I was buying 1/4 inch birch plywood from Home Depot for $15 a sheet.  I've never built a guitar, but would guess one to one and a half sheets would build the body..

I'm SURE you could find a book at the library or a good music store that would discuss guitar construction.

its hard to make the neck, the frets have to be perfect

ill give you wood for 50 it even makes music

About $250.00 and you would need about 2.5 planks.

$45 would get you a cabinet grade 4X8 sheet of birch.

but you should make the neck from maple or another extremely hard wood
