Hi.

Thinking of moving to London and I am wondering how much it would cost if I rented a really small and basic flat in London just for one person(monthly cost).

Do you have any good websites that are worth having a look at?

Thank you.

Peace.

  1. I'm afraid that even a really small one bed flat in the centre of the city is going to cost a fortune, a minimum of £1000-£1500 per month.  Studios won't be that much cheaper either.  It would be much cheaper to live a) a little further out, such as zone 2 or 3, and b) to share with someone.

The best website for looking for flats in London is undoubtedly gumtree.com.  I know so many people (including myself!) who have had a lot of success using it!

  2. I agree with the above. www.gumtree.com will help and I think if you look really hard and flat share (you will have your own room but share kitchen etc with others) Then I'm sure you can find something for around 100-150per week but if you share with more people and a little out of central you can find places from £80+

    But do check out www.gumtree.com

    Hope this helps :)
