How much would a trip from NY to Thailand be?

Next year I am planning on going to Thailand on the Japanese Airline. Anyone have close estimates?

best is to check the back of the Sunday NY Times travel section for advs from consolidators - - or check at your local thai rstaurant and ask where they get tkts - - the cheapest fares will not likely be on a Japanese airline - - but if you are looking for a japan stopover - check with NWA - they stop at Narita

The prices change a lot. It depends on what month you plan to travel.

Check Kayak.com. You just enter the dates and they will tell you the prices of all the airlines. There's also a feature called 'Chart View' that shows you a graph of when the prices go up or down.

All Nippon Airways is no good unless your less than 5'6'' and 135lbs.  You should be able to get a ticket for around $1500 but it depend on the dates you travel and how booked the airline is.  As has been said you should check their websites.

Why not just pull up the Air Nippon or Japan Airlines websites and enter your data and see for yourself?  

Pretty simple, that way you get to include if it is economy seating, business class or first class seating.  Each level has different prices.  When you go also affects the price of your ticket.  Weekends, holidays and certain times of the year also influence the price.  Usually when kids get out of school in June until they go back to school in September the prices are higher.

Also check with China Airlines and Korean Airlines.  With China Airlines you arrive in Asia during the day hours and depart from Thailand during the day hours.

Every now and then the airlines have a special price on trips to Asia, you have to check often.  Also, don't fall in love with a particular day - check the prices a few days before and a few days after your preferred departure day to see if the price is lower.

Depends on lots of things:

- Fly first class?

- Stay in five-star hotel,

- Shop a lot?

- most importantly how long would you stay.

A comfortable luxury stay for a month would set you back about 20 grands.
