How much would a week vacation to greece cost? ballpark?

i spent 11 days on an island hop arround greece, and it cost 3200 total. I did a trip though a company (ef collegebreak) and it cost 2800 for hotels, roundtrip airfare, breakfasts, and transportation between islands, then 400 on food/souvineers. I thought the package deal was a good deal since airfare alone I was looking at around 1900 just for airfare. I still have the company's discount code too if you want to use them, its hesseln1188 and it gets you $50 off. Oh and just so you know, the drivers over there are crazy. But without using a package, (i was looking at doing it with a friend before we found this) hotels are around 90 euros a night, depending on where you are of course. food is pretty cheap compared to the rest of europe, like 5 euros for a sandwich. So... arround 1300 for hotels, 2000 for airfare, and 500 for food/suvineers. Im guessing 3800 ballpark? Just a guess...

Hmmmm, well, I guess it all depends on the ballpark!!!!   Do you want to vacation like a monarch or like a pauper?  Or somewhere in between?  

By the way, you don't mention if you are looking for a vacation package or if you will be traveling on your own.  Let's assume that you are....

First of all,  you have to get there.  I don't know where ur travelling from so I don't know what that expense would be.  You can figure that out.

Next, you will need at least 100 euros a night for a decent hotel. A luxury hotel is much more, and a youth hostel is much less.

Then, if you are planning on eating, shopping, getting around and sightseeing, u need to figure another 100 a day.  Of course, u can get by on less if you are frugal.

So............that's about 1400 euros + transportation.  (ballpark!)
