How much would a year cost if i was to spend it abroad of school?

i am planing on spending a year at school but in europe how much would you guys think it would cost.i want to go when i am a junior in high school.so i am wondering how much it owuld cost flight and and all in cluded

You will need to contact individual exchange programs for exact figures, but program fees generally run $7,000 - $10,000 and include flights, visa, insurance, orientations and finding schools and host families for you. In addition, you will have to have money to cover personal expenses. Since the dollar is tanking, that will only get more expensive! Right now, I'd estimate $200 to $250 a month.

The cheapest way to go is with Rotary, but it's also the most competitive.

I'm not sure what grade you are in now, but if you are wanting to go next year, you need to hurry! Most deadlines are either passed or quickly approaching -- especially if you want to apply for scholarships.

Europe has a great variety of countries and peoples. On general North, Middle and West Europe are most expensive. It differs, you have to check it, because you can save a lot of money by choosing the right country and the right place to live. If you choose a cheap(er) country, take a closer look at the level of the education, because it might be lower. (Of course you always have to check the level of education.)Good luck.
