  1. the best way to book it calling Carnival it is the only way we book, we have a Vacation Planner there that is awesome, answers all the questions I have ans even keep tabs on the booking until sail date fore any sales that lower the price or get better upgrades, also I have never found another place cheaper than going through Carnival direct and I have looked.

sorry I don't drink but they the drinks I saw others have that came in decorative coconut banks where $15 and refills $5 for about any drink.

if you wait for the special on massages was $1 a minute but you had too read the flyer's to know when, did not look at facials but it started at $45 to have your hair done for formal night and that had to be booked in the spa the first day to get a time.

the Gym is free and very nice

    the sushi bar is free

    all dinning rooms are free

you can order Cappuccino and Espresso in the dinning room at all meals free

    you pay for:

    the coffee shop

    all bars

    casino

    all shop

    the spa

and tips $10 a day each passenger

  2. if you don't have to fly to Florida, which is where the port is it is way cheaper, but now there is a charge for gas, I believe it is 140 per cabin or 70 per person, but no more that 140 per cabin, something like that. You can check their web page, and it will tell you exactly how much and when and all the excursions, you can buy the  excursion 10 days before you depart or but them on board at the desk or even from your cabin t.v., and the porters will bring them the night before or morning of.  The gym is free and since it is your birthday your travel agent should mention it to them and you should get at least a 10-20 percent discount. They have drinks of the day which run cheaper and have a souvenir glass to keep, I like this option, you should check all the cruise lines for the date you want to depart and fish thru the sights if you don't have a travel agent, I looked thru a few and expedia was cheapest for my last cruise and then I told my travel agent what I found and she got the deal for me for the same price and I was able to get the discounted spa thingy cause she mentioned it was my b-day, you can also book directly from their sight, and it will ask you if anyone is celebrating anything, it will also tell you about your itinerary, like your dinner days which are casual and formal, and your activities on board depend on what size liner you are riding.

  3. www.carnival.com.  Check the website for the fares, and all the other info that you need.  After you price it yourself.  Call Carnival and see what they are prepared to offer you,  If booking early enough in advance, they  usually cut you a deal.  I do this everytime I travel.  Paying the listed price is for suckers!

  4. Call the cruise company they will give you all the correct imformation you need so you can budget .
