  1. ok where are you going to fly from to ?

It might not be as expensive as it might first look.

You can of course hire planes aswell as buy over say 20 years, therefore costs for just 1 plane may only be say £5000 a month for a small passenger model, plus insurance which will be a large amount of course.

If were say flying from Ireland to the Continent from a small airfield basically somewhere were holidays are a very long winded concept, having to get to a major city airport then it might well be a good idea.

  2. with it costing thousands just to fuel a plane i would think a few million should do it.

  3. About $25 less than it costs to travel on an airplane with two checked bags from New York to Atlanta.

  4. an awful lot considering a plane is millions.

  5. You might want to read up about a chap called Martin Halstead, who set up an airline in 2005 when he was 19. There was a channel 4 documentary about him and his airline, Alpha One Airways, and how he set it up a while ago. I seem to remember he found an investor to raise about £50,000 to hire an aircraft, staff and start paying out for fees etc. ou might be able to find the documentary on the ch4 website?
