I took it to the Westside LExus inHouston, TX and they charged me $1250 for the 60K miles service and also for flushing the entire fuel system. The parts only costed around $375, the rest is for labor charges. I just need to know if that is normal.

  1. The year of the vehicle will determine the price. 2004 and up do not require transmission fliud or engine coolant replacement until 100,000 miles but with that being said $1250 is very pricey for a oil and filter, rotate & balance, front, center and rear differential flluid change, engine air filter, cabin air filter, drive belt,  thorough inspection and test drive. Different dealers do different things in their services and vary widley around the country.Find a good LEXUS mechanic in you're area that owns his own shop.

  2. I ran into something similar with my RX400h for the 30,000 mile service.  It was just over $500.00, but the actual labor was approximately $160.00.  I was pissed, but what can you do, right?  :)  Hope this helps!

  3. it actually does sound right... the 60k is the most expensive maintenance...

a good secret is going to a Toyota dealership...

they literally charge half the price.. and you get the same service.. I have a Lexus IS-F (very high performance car) and I still take it to get it serviced at toyota...
