How much would good carpenter earn in austrailia....??

It depends whether you have all your own tools,work van and insurances.Wages can vary any where from $25 to $65 an hour,and it also depends whether you are working for yourself or for a company.

My husband and I own a construction company and we pay most of our carpenters $45 dollars an hour and a bonus if they finish jobs on time and they are responsible to pay their own taxes,GST(which is 10%) insurances,have all their own tools,work vans and pay their own superannuation.(They are technically self employed but they are working for us on a contract basis).We also have a few carpenters working for us that get $28 an hour and a bonus if they finish jobs on time.We pay their taxes,superannuation,insurances,they only have their own hand tools,and one doesn't have a car,and the other who does have a car also gets a fuel allowance.
