  1. My name is Patricia, from http://www.NYCHairSalon.com and http://www.HairExtensionSalon.com and we perform over 35 Different Hair Extensions Types, the most in the country, so I can give you the best honest answer.

Cost Depends on a number of factors.   The type of hair extension, the amount of hair used, the length of hair or the look desired.  Also, geography plays a part.  NYC, LA, Chicago, will be more expensive that smaller towns across the USA, due to expenses incurred by the salon.

A top of the line hair extension system like Great Lengths, HairDreams, Remylinks, will cost more because of the premium nature of the hair.  It costs the salon more money to buy, hence the added costs to the customer.  To add body to hair, figure you need $600 and up, to add length, figure $1500 and up.

There are more affordable methods.  In general with what I said earlier, the duration the extension lasts, plays a factor in price also.  If it last a couple of months, it will be cheaper than something that lasts up to 6 months.  You can get a system like UltraTress and Simplicity for around $500, which is an affordable option.

Be careful just judging on price.  If it cost $200 for a full head of hair extensions, stay away.  They will probably destroy your hair.

Use only 100% Natural Remy Human Hair Extensions.  Avoid Synthetic, and make sure the person is a licensed hair dresser.

    Good Luck in your search,

    Regards,

    Patricia

  2. it depends on where you go

the place i go charges about 60-100 for the hair but it depends on the quality you want and how long you want it to last

and to put it in its 20 per track

but thats not for every where you go

it usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half

  3. they would cost anywhere from 30 to 100 and up. if you buy the ones where you have to sew them it could take up to 3 hours. but you caan buy ones with sewn in clips.

  4. I have no experience with hair extensions put in by a professional, but a few friends of mine have them and supposedly it takes a long time, and the upkeep is incredibly expensive.

I recommend  the Jessica Simpson 'hair-do' extensions.  You can get real or fake extensions, of all lengths and colors.  I have really long wavy ones that I put in whenever I go out, and they look perfect.  No one can ever tell they are extensions, and they clip in, so I can wear them whenever I feel like it.  The added bonus with these is that I don't have to pay every couple of weeks to have them re-done

  5. It really depends on the quality and length of the extensions - really nice ones put in by a pro could cost $500 or more.
