  1. Well, it's not based on the year built, it's based on the cost to rebuild.

    And, if it's the end unit of a rowhouse, well, many companies won't want to write it AT ALL.  

    Cost will depend on location, coverage, claims history, and your credit score.  It could be anywhere from $300 to $6,000.  You're going to have to shop around.
