  1. 1.83 all you do is move the decimal two places ahead so it is now .07875 multiplied by your subtotal 23.23= 1.83 by rounding it up. Thanks megan

  2. About  a  $1.83 .  .  .

Did  you  know  they  sell  calculators  for  like  a  dollar  now ?

Might  be  a  good  investment  for  you   .   .   .

  3. $25.06. You take your original amount of $23.23 and since you are looking for the total amount, and not just the tax portion itself, you multiply your original amount by itself, or "1", then add the tax portion to the "1" and since the tax is 7.875%, this would equate to multiplying your $23.23 by 1.07875 (the "1" being the original amount and the .07875 being the tax portion) and you get $25.0593625. Since we round to the nearest cent, that makes the answer $25.06.
