Hi Goooo,

They are going to send you packing... sorry to say.  Pawn shops are not interested in ancient technology and have most likely thrown out any of the VHS camcorders they did have on the shelves.   They only loan money or pay for items they can resell in case you don't come back to retrieve your merchandise... and they have a pretty good idea that not only would you fail to come back in to get it...  no one else would want it either.  Make sense.

It is just the Pawn Shop business.
