  1. Hi, can someone tell me what is 1111.00 equvilant to? is it £11.11 ???

    and is 332.00 = £3.32

  2. Deduction is high now. let's see. 5 shares GBX. You'd be talking somewhere in the region of 425. Thats net worth. Advice is to invest a further 6 months, wait till the Banks bring out a new FGX. You'll be better off

  3. Use a calculator

  4. you will get a Litre or Diesel, packet of crisps and a mars bar for the price of those shares nowa days

  5. Not actually answering your question, because I am sure there will be plenty of answers from those who can multiply (or use a calculator) but remember UK shares are always quoted in pence whether it be 1111p (in a shop would be £11.11p) or 00.1p (1/10th pence) whereas in US they are always quoted in $. Like 24.85 ($24.85 cents) or 0.01 (1 cent)

  6. As already mentioned, UK shares are quoted in pence, so 1111.0 is £11.11. and  332.00 is £3.32.  But the quoted price is the "mid price", an approximate figure between the buying and selling price. This changes from day-to-day, in line with the market. You will also pay dealing charges, so don't expect the full amount. For one-off dealing, you don't need an account; your bank can sell them for you.

  7. £487.15

    Unfortunately you wont get this

Their is a bid offer spread possibly 5%

Then you will have to pay dealing charges

    Probably £430 all in?

  8. phone up a stockbroker or your local banks dealing service.

what you will get is the bid price at the time of dealing for your shares

there will be a minimum  dealing charge by the bank or stockbroker
