  1. That's at least 10% I think.

    Just input it into an insurance site and see what they quote, then back up, take driver's ed off and see their quote again.

    But each insurance carrier will have a different discont. My advice is you take driver's ed just the same and regardless, then to save money on insurance you get get liability only on a cheap car.

    Oh and you SHOP around for the cheapest quote.


  2. Most insurance companies do not give you a discount for drivers ed but have their own discount for taking a company course with them.  Ask your insurance company or agent.

  3. The idea that driver's ed will save you money on car insurance isn't always true.  Depending on your location and company, you may or may not be able to get a discount for your extra studies.  Of course, that doesn't mean it's not a worthwhile investment.
