i am traveling about 1450 miles from orange county to zacatecas, mexico. how much would i be spending to go round trip. i will be driving an 08 chevy avalanche, which according to chevy, uses 14 mpg street and 20 mpg highway. i guess we should use 4.00 a gal

Maybe you can rent an economical car for the trip.  Just tell them you'll be taking it into Mexico, it changes the rates.
