  1. yea your gonna be paying about 4-6k a year

  2. full coverage - around $4k.

    liability only $2.5k

  3. Well contact your current insurance broker and see if you get things like good student discount, good driver discount, multiple vehicle discount. I get all those so my brand new 250 cc is 51 a month with comprehensive. And I am taking the MSF course which will lower my rate even more. and thats with state farm which is one of the more expensive insurance companies. A family friend told me that a subsidy(sp?) of state farm called foremost, i think, is the best for rates. so give them a call and ask for a quote.

  4. Do not take it for granted, use your own head to make the judgement. Here is a good resource I have tried.

  5. like 4k lmao cant buy that big young

  6. If you want to save money, go with a slightly older bike, that you own and don't make payments on.  It will save you A LOT of money. The other way to drastically reduce the insurance cost is to not get collision or comprehensive coverage. These are always ideal to have, but if your bike isn't worth more than about $1500, you might as well save the money and not get the comprehensive and collision. But like some have said, it can cost you $4000 to $5000USD, for an '08 bike like that with full coverage.
