How much would it be to fix a car A/C?

im about to buy a car from some. its a 2000 chevy lumina, how much to fix the A/c?

ok being it is a lumina your probably leaking refrigerant from teh compressor and the high side pressure fitting. you can get a recharge for around 80 dollars. if the refrigerant all leaks out quickly  in a few days... then you will need an a/c compressor dryer and o*****e tube. and an a/c flush. this will run usually around 8-900 dollars.  try to recharge first. you didnt provide much info so i gave you what is broken on 90% of all general motors vehicles. i am almost certain this is what is wrong with yours.
