How much would it be to fly from San Diego to Atlanta next summer?

My guess is 400$.

do you think gas prices next year will be lower, or higher, and how would that affect the price ?

Thats really hard to find cause the airlines havent post flights for those dates yet. When it comes near i always find that searching the airline sites are the lowest. I know that airtran flys direct and is always a good fare. Last Christmas I went from Dallas to Flint, MI with a stop in ATL for 250 round trip booking in late Nov. With the other airlines fare around 600-1200 each way.

SAN to ATL

Orbitz Cheapest is $338

1 stop on the way back in Pheonix

Flight there on Delta; Flight back on US Airways

Travelocity Cheapest is $338

But it's nonstop with Delta

So it'll be around $400 like you guessed!!
