  1. Roughly $400 or so with a water pump and drive belt

  2. if only the belt needs replacing, about 600-900.00, maybe less if you have a trusted mechanic....

  3. timing belt kit plus any head damage could run upwards of 2 thousand dollars

  4. there is no point in that car if it has a 2.7 or a 2.5

  5. if it has jumped timing or the belt has broke on it you might should stay away from this car,it may have bent a few valves in it,normal cost for replacing one is around 400 bucks because you need to repalce the water pump also on this it runs off the timing belt, but if it broke, its did damage to the engine in it thats why its cheap,be careful this one could cost a lot to repair it,good luck.

  6. One place you can use to do price checking on car repairs is on Driverside.com – you can drill down to specific cars cause I think the price will change based on the car being a dodge stratus. They are still in beta but they have a ton of data on what car parts and repairs should cost. I used them for my last repair.
