How much would it cost for a block of maple thats 24x12x6 inches? thanks?

im using this wood to make and electric violin and if you have any tips on this please post em. please dont post if your gonna spam. thanks!

Maple  cost anywhere from $4.00 to $11.75 ( depending on the grade and if its hard or soft maple)  a board foot. Multiply the length, width and thickness in inches then divide it by 144 that will give you the board feet.

Trick is finding cured hardwood in that size.

Suppliers of "cabinet wood" & the  usual woodworkers supply sites may be able to help.

An outfit that specializes in architectural millwork would be

a good option .

Also specialty lumber yards that supply them .

A piece of maple large enough for your project would be considered scrap to them.

Cost?.. got to find it first.
