How much would it cost for bus fare from windermere to coniston?

it is about 12 miles, and i heard prices are really high in the lake district, it would be for 1 adult and 1 child, anyone know roughly what the prices would be?

I Don't know, but Stagecoach do a "Ruskin Explorer" Ticket, which is valid on Service 505 from Windermere to Coniston, for a cruise on Coniston Water, and entry to Brantwood.

I would give a guess of about £8 or £9 single for the two of you, as last time i went from Hawkshead to Ambleside it was £5 Adult Single
