  1. In what car?

For example a Daihatsu Charade 1.0 will do 58 mpg on the combined cycle, while a Range Rover Sport 4.2 will only do 17 mpg.

If we use todays fuel cost of 94.9p per litre, the Charade would cost £14.85, while the Rangey would sup £50.68 worth of fuel.

This does not take into account the driving conditions, as stop start driving (in town/heavy traffic) will increase fuel consumption.

  2. Depends on the car, size of engine, speed you'll be travelling at, weight of the vehicle, how many gear changes and speed variations will be used.

Fifty quid really ought to get you there quite easily, no matter what though.

  3. Driving/riding/flying what?

  4. this all depends on car, size, engine, size of engine, injection or carb,

origenal carb or webber replase men, cost of petrol per litter or gallon, weather or not the car or engine is in good condition or worn out.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. About 5,000 pounds if it's a 747. This of course includes taxiing.

  6. Whatever the cost, its cheaper than a rail ticket

  7. if its all downhill, nothing

  8. £23.61

  9. the average cost at this present time is £10 per hundred miles

  10. It also depends upon how fast you go.  The most economical speed on my 1.2 is 56 MPH and I do about 400 miles on a £33 tank full. if i do 70MPH  I need to fill my tank before I complete the journey. The difference is 60mpg against about 46mpg

  11. depends on the engine and car, a one litre would cost about a tenner, while a 4 litre would cost about £35

  12. Depends on your car and engine size, approx £30 - £35

  13. I work out most cars get 30-50 miles to £5.00 worth of fuel.

So going on the lowest figure £35.00 (larger engines and rough driving)

Diesels will give better economy, so will a small engine (Under 1000cc) but smaller engines use more fuel while travelling at 70mph, so try travelling at 60mph to let the engine sip.

My car costs about £20.00 to do 200 miles if I drive smooth and constant speed.

    Hope this helps.

  14. I have a 1.1 lt polo and it costs me about 10p a mile. So if you have a similar car about £20 otherwise I don't know

  15. It normally costs me around £100, in my Bentley.  But if i use the Harley Davidson, it costs me £20.
