  1. Internet service can run about 40.00 month cable and you can get a phone service for 39.95 the first year and then 19.95 each year after that, that is for a year not a month go to www.magicjack.com,the rest of the bills will be charged by usage of water and lights and gas.

  4. With my local phone service, phone is about $20 after taxes with no call waiting or caller id. Add those two and your phone alone will cost around $40. The lowest DSL price is $19.99 + taxes.

I would guess if you kept AC off, kept your lights off when you didn't need them, you electric bill would be around $30-$35 depending on your tv and computer usage. (I would not say over $40 though.) In my area, water is not to be paid by someone renting, it is illegal here. But for my fathers house, it is never more than $20 a month. Heat/ gas I can not tell you because I stressed to move into an apartment that included heat in their rent. Many complexes offer free heat in my area, perhaps it is the same in yours. Food budgets vary too greatly. You can budget a meal plan for yourself within $150 with crafty shopping, but you will probably need $200 for meals throughout the month, not including take out. If there is no washer or dryer, you will need to pay for laundry (unless someone lets you use their washer/dryer) and that adds up really fast. Most places around here cost $1.25-1.50 for the washer, then another 1.25-1.50 to dry. Laundromats are actually cheaper, but inconvenient.
