How much would it cost me for a round trip plane ticket to London, and can I go by myself if im 16?

I'm trying to collect money so I can go hang around in London for a few days. I'm 16 years old. How much would it cost for a round trip plane ticket? How do I get it? Can I just go to the airport and purchase it there?

It depends wether you want a direct flight or multiple stop flight, how long you plan on staying, and which airport in London. Theres a few. But from philly to London it can be starting at around 400 dollars + taxes and fees= around $900  

And yea, you can go alone. Ive traveled through out europe when i was 13.

You can purchase your ticket at the airport, but it can get a little hectic.

Its easier to check  flights and buy it online.

It depends on when you travel.  Right now seats in coach are going for close to $1000 plus taxes and fees.  Delta flights are the best when traveling to England.  Usually you can get a direct one for a good price.  If you wait till after Labor Day the rates will go down.  I flew to Manchester for $800 last year around Christmas.  It's about the same price no matter where you fly in.  London Heathrow is very busy!  You must also get a cab or get the tube to go into the city.  Driving a rental in London there is a congestion fee.  You can go alone if you have written permission from parents and your passport and of course one other form of ID just in case.
