How much would it cost me to fix my side mirror on the passenger side of my GMC 1989 Jimmy?

The side mirror of the passenger side of my GMC Jimmy fell off it is hanging by a wire, because it is run on power. Well how much will it cost me? and is it worth it? please get back to me on this.

The cheapest way would to be call the junkyards in your area to see if they have the same year make and model, then you can go get it from them very cheap, most dealerships will over charge for parts.

Most powered mirrors run 40+ at a dealership, whereas you might be able to find it at a local junkyard for 5-20 bucks.  

You can also look up OEM replacement parts online and get them that way.

The very cheapest junk yards will tell you to go and look. Crazy Rays in the Balto-D.C. area is disorganized, but cheap Is the door rusted out because if it is you may need a door also. Know that it is also sold as Blazer, and Bravada and if you ask nicely they will tell you what years interchange.
