How much would it cost me to put some kind of wood floor into my apartment. It's 1,000SQFT?

I would like to remove my carpert and put down some hard wood floors. Nothing expensive but I really want the carpet out. I can do it myself. Anyone have an idea on the cost.

At least $3000.00. Probably more, possibly a lot more. In other words, you are unlikely to be able to do it for less than $3 per square foot.  Average costs are around $6-7 and higher end stuff is a lot more.  Also consider if the hardwood needs nails, under padding, glue or other ancillary costs.

You can get the snap together wood that just lays over the slab for around $1-5 per sq ft, go to a builder surplus store, Home Depot, or Sams Club even sells it. Easy to install and easy to remove
