How much would it cost to LIVE in the Caribbean?

I'm tired of living in the US. There are currently so many problems....its so depressing. I want to start over new and fresh. Is it really expensive to start over down there?

Well if you like fish and rum you will be OK.  Everything else has to be shipped in and of course costs a premium.  also depending on how close you are to the beach prices for housing / renting can skyrocket.  another thing to consider is most of the islands income is dependent on tourism.  if that market drops so does your job (most likely)

Yes, everything on the islands have to be brought in so you have that extra expensive added to the cost.
