The person who owns the house I live in left her washer and dryer. I have a washer and dryer of my own and I was thinking with the size of my family, I could use a second set. Does anyone know how much it might cost me to hook up a 2nd set?

  1. i just did one for a neighbor for $ 350- plumbing and electric were about 10 ft. away.

  2. We had water pipes fairly handy, but it was a haul  for a new 220V line.  It cost me $200 for the plumbing, and $200 for the installation of new 220V line from the breaker panel. Of course, your mileage may vary.

  3. you would need a second set of fausets, another electrical outlet and a drain for the washer,.....

if the dryer is electric, you would need a seperate 220 volt electrical outlet and circuit from your breaker box,and the exhaust outlet.

probably 300-500 dollars would cover it....

biggest problem would be the drain....whether or not you have enough sewer capacity if they were running at the same time....

  4. Depends on the connections available and how far
