my mom wanted to bring a bird but she dosent know how much it will cost please help

You would have to call the airlines to see what their regulations and prices are for birds.  Some airlines don't allow birds.

all depends on the airline, some do not even allow animals on board so be aware of that. it's very dangerous to check pets as baggage & it often kills them. you will have to make some calls to the airline. you will also have to call customs for both places. expect quaranteens and you will have to pay the fees for that as well. certificate of health is required, and most only last 10 days, then you must have an airline certified pet cage. if this is just a vacation i would suggest that she find someone to baby sit the bird....just a guess so don't get mad. don't have to follow any advice.

The cost is a lot of paperwork, time and money.  There is a lot to read in the regulations.  Briefly:

You will need a vet certificate from a vet in Guatamala

The bird can ONLY be shipped to Miami, NY or Los Angeles

You must make a reservation and pay ahead of time for the bird to be in quarantine for 30 days at the airport quarantine facility
