How much would it cost to build a large in ground Swimming pool

for my home? To give you an idea, the house is worth about $650,000.

I have about 2 acres of land.

  1. A small inground would run you about $30,000 without anything fancy. Since your house is worth so much, it sounds like you'll want to add a pool that compliments that. If you go with a standard shape it will cost less, but when you get into anything out of the ordinary you're adding dollars. A pool with landscaping, concrete, waterfall, automatic cover (great addition!), etc, will probably run you about $100,000 to do it right and in a spectacular fashion!

Depends upon a lot of things, such as where you live and what type of pool you want and how much concrete decking you want and how difficult the site is to prepare.  Certainly at least $30k, easily more.  Be sure to get an automatic cover.  This will make maintenance and start up in the spring very very easy.
