How much would it cost to construct this house?

I'm only 16 and don't know a lot about real estate and architecture, but I saw this house and absolutely fell in love with it. There isn't one that exists like it, because this house is only a "shell", but in my future it would be a dream if I could have a house exactly like this. I was wondering if someone could look at these pictures and just give a basic, rough estimate at how much it would cost to construct a house of this size.

Well my young dreamer.... You better start saving or get another job or two!!!!

I did a plumbing job on a home (new build) mind you.... and just the plumbing was over $100,000 and I was 25K lower than the next lowest bid for the job !! (since I'm retired , My rates are not as high !!) The darn House had 5 full baths, one for each bedroom, and a common bathroom off the Mud room near the kitchen... that's 6 full baths.... WOW....

The house was kinda like the one you have here on the lake front, and the total cost was over 2.5million dollars to build it.

That is what the contractors had to budget with !

This house looks similar to The Addams Family House.A house like this, with the finished interior of exotic wood panels and moldings would run $4 - 5 Million.Start saving, as everything is going up fast.

a lot depends also on the area where you would build the house.  if that house was built in florida, it would cost at least 2 million bucks, and that doesn't include the cost of the land or lot to build it on.  price would go up for certain high end extras as well, like hardwood floors, marble, etc.  gorgeous house though.  great taste girl!  i love it.  :)
