How much would it cost to fix my lap top?

the lap top works and turns on correctly; however, the programs in it are all messed up and missing many files when I received a virus from it..I can't even get my wi fi working properly..because so many programs/ files are missing.

Re Install the Operating System from the Original Installation CD.

Wiping the Hard drive clean and reinstalling.

I'm not sure when it started, but you can try to restore it from the day before it all started acting up . . .

what is actualy wrong with it as in wat files are missing from what programes and hav u goten rid of the virus ??  ad it in aditional details

i wud recomend estarting your laptop to factory settings i think its done by turning it off then on and resing one of the "F" buttons eather 2,10,8 or 12 deending or your latop

Try formatting your HD and riinstalling your OS

Try making like factory install iyou have that option.

Have reputable shop-NOT BEST BUY-do it for you if you don;t know how.  Or knowlegable friend.
