  1. It depends which dive club you learn with, they all have different rates. I think mine cost around £500 in total (including travel, kit hire etc). You might want to take a look at all of the dive clubs in your area and see which one suits you (and you wallet!). Any decent dive club will be PADI (or BSAC) certified - the higher the star rating the better.
