How much would it cost to get either my canines sharpend or to get permanent veneers in the shape of fangs?

If you ask your dentist they should be able to refer you to someone. Or just call a few dentists in your area and ask if they know an office that could help.

You should consider putting caps or veneers over the teeth instead of sharpening them. You never know if your tastes will change. Plus, as you get older your teeth will wear down so they probably won't be as sharp and if you keep getting them reshaped you'll end up with tiny stubs.

I'm not really sure why you'd want to do this, but I know quite a few dentist in San Diego county who will do this for you. In the office I work at reshaping teeth starts around $400, and veneers are 1500. per tooth. You also have the option of bonding. It's the least intrusive option and it involves bonding composite to your tooth and shaping the composite into a fang shape at the tip. Although, this may be harder to accomplish.

I work in a cosmetic dental office and as long as our patients requests won't have damaging effects we'll pretty much accommodate any of their wishes.

**I'm sure you're aware of this but someone recommended caps or veneers to re-shape your teeth, claiming they'd be a less intrusive approach. This is not true, they'd be the most intrusive approach. You have to shave down much more tooth structure in order to bond something back onto it.**

Careful of anything you do that is permanent. Do you really want to look like a vampire when you are 50? think very hard about what you do to your body. You should respect yourself more than that.
