It totally would depend upon when you wanted to go. NW has direct flights. The best cost for such a trip would be to use Jefferson Lines bus service which has a route from Minneapolis to Kansas City where you could then transfer to Amtrak's Southwest Chief for the remaining portion into Albuquerque. Going this route would cost much less and offer some really views. Good Luck!
