you can check some indirect flights. can find those at around $1000.

i think alitalia is one of the cheapest, so is egyptair.

It would be at least $900 - $1000 but it could go up to like $2000 depending when you go and the airline.  It could be around this price range if you travel during off-peak travel seasons.  Also, I would avoid travelling Friday - Sundays because tickets tend to be more expensive on these days.You can go to kayak.com.  It searches all of the major travel sites (ie cheaptickets, hotwire, travelocity, etc...).
