Some community colleges allow kids as young as fourteen to enroll in their classes.  That is a low cost way to learn, and it also earns your child college credits.  Check your local community college district for information on their minimum age requirements.

That all depends on which program you want to use. We don't have a virtual school set up through the public system like other states. For me it cost about 900.00 every 2 years to get all my daughter needs for 2 years. Thank God it is all reuseable because I have 3 kids. That is for 4th grade.

For most schools absolutely free.  They will send you a computer and all the stuff you need free.  They'll even pay for your internet.
