How much would it cost to install airbags or other things for safety to a VW bus.?

I JUST got my licence and really want a VW bus. How can i make it safe enough for a new drivers everyday car.

OMG. Don't be so paranoid wear your seat belt like the rest of us with out airbags. You'll be fine.

If you want to put air bags on a vintage VW bus, foggetabout!

Even if you could install air bags, it would not make it a safe vehicle. Just look how air bags are incorporated in cars. There is just no place to do this in an old VW.

It would be a lot cheaper to buy a new one with air bags in it.
