How much would it cost to install an electric shower from scratch?

Also would a plumber or electrician be best for the job? Or just someone qualified in both?

  1. find a good plumber, he will let you know the cost and also most of them can do both but make sure they are Gorghi registered. goood luck , electric showers are a marvel


  2. depends on what sort of shower you want

  3. A couple of things to consider , is the wall tilled for example , if so will you be happy with a pipe and a conduit coming down the wall surface . If not the wall will have to be chased and made good , other than that a plumber should take no more than 3 hours labour , if the shower is up stairs and there is is a loft in you house, the electrician , the same , along with the shower which vary in price , but lets say £300 , you have pipe and valve and fittings go with £40 , an pull chord switch £10 ,cable £15 , an rocb at mcb board £40 , Labour at £30 an hour by two trades =£180 + £40 +£40+£10+£15 =£ 285 + £300 = £585

    Look at a budget of £600
