  1. 1 gallon covers 500 sf+1 gallon is about 20 dollars=about 120 dollars

  2. depends on where you are and what you're painting.  In my area, a white painter will cost you about $1/sq. ft., Hispanic crews will do the same job faster and much cheaper, I recently had my kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, and hallway including ceilings done for $600.  Murals, faux painting, etc. can cost you much more.

  3. not much at all really just a few brush strokes. im mean " 3000 sq. ft" cant take that much room to paint unless you want people on mars to see it.

but seriously it would depend on the quality of paint you were using, you could probably do it with 10 gallons but putting a price on that would be hard because there are many different brands and qualities

  4. 3000 square dollars of course

  5. Um, it would probably cost over 1,000 dollars.  That's all I know.  I think it costs about half of that for 1,600 square feet.  I looked it up.  That's how I know.  I hope I helped.  Does that help?  I hope it does.  Please tell me if it doesn't.  I'm sorry!

  6. Go figure:  A gallon of paint will cover between 250 and 400 sq. ft.  Go see the guy at the paint store.  It all depends on whether you need an undercoat, and what quality paint you are going to use. Flat,Satin,Semi-Gloss, High-Gloss???  Personally, I always buy the highest grade since I'm doing the labor (for free).

  7. as a pro painter i would charge you somewhere between $2300.00 and $2700.00, this includes two applications, one color plus semi gloss for trim, all doors and windows, no ceilings. this is a 2 man job and will be done in two days.

  8. Figure 300 to 350 sqft per gallon, and get the good paint. What you save in quality you will pay for in labor. Depending on what color you are painting. Red for instance paint quality can mean the difference between 2 coats and 15 coats. Get paint that costs 120+ a 5 gallon I will put it that way. Sherwinn Williams is my store of choice, promar is good, if you want high quality go with their superpaint though it is only available in single gallons. Look at the solids content on the paint. The higher the solids the less coats. If you are not doing it yourself the cost really depends on your areas market.

  9. well im not sure about the answer, but if the paint your covering up absorbs the paint your putting on, it will take much more, as much as double. do a test area to see. no more than 2 coats to get your desired color
