  1. Lots.

A new ECU could cost you over $1000.I'd imagine you would need to buy a genuine part, and that is never a cheap exercise.

A seat is neither here nor there, and should be easy enough to get.

The wiring would be my main concern. Something might have shorted out when it was cut, and depending on where it was cut from (id say the main loom that plugs into the ECU) so you may need to rewire the whole car.

A new loom plus testing, diagnostics, as well as the labor to fix the harness would be very costly.

If you can do the work yourself (As in you are an apprentice auto elec, or your dad is) the it might be a good idea.

If you are paying someone to do the work, it will cost you heaps.

  2. well its not cheap is you dont have the right connection.

the parts u need go for real cheap in the "streets"

but your best bet is hitting up junk yards. out here in Sourthen Cali we find RSX all the time.

As long as the motor is there and complete the rest should be a piece of cake.

but by your age and knowledge, it seems that this will be a handful for u.

Spend that 7k on a 98-01 integra GSR instead.

it comes with a strong motor and with lil tweaks here and there, it will be way faster than your average rsx.

  3. This is not the cheapest car to maintain even after you get it running. I suggest you skip out on it, the computer costs alone will be quite a handful. Also with a salvage title, you can only insure it under 3rd party

  4. One place you can use to do price checking on car repairs is on Driverside.com - you can drill down to specific cars cause I think the price will change based on the car. They are still in beta but they have a ton of data on what car parts and repairs should cost. I used them for my last repair.
